Sameer D. Uplenchwar

Mr. Sameer Uplenchwar has over 15 years of financial and business development experience. Mr. Uplenchwar’s expertise is in financial structuring and modeling as well as energy banking. With significant depth of contacts within the Canadian and US energy sector Mr. Uplenchwar generates significant deal flow opportunities for investors. Previously, Mr. Uplenchwar served as Managing Director and Head of US Equity Research with GMP Capital LLC in Houston, Managing Director with Global Hunter Securities in Calgary/Houston.

Victor Lapointe

Victor leverages his 30 years involvement in the oil and gas industry as well as 20 years in the construction industry, to mentor RES’ senior leadership team. Since retiring in 2005, Victor’s sales, marketing, and customer relationship advice has proved invaluable to Resource Energy Solutions. Victor remains active in the business community by serving on the boards of several oil and gas companies. He has also been involved in many industry associations including CAPP, PSAC, and the Oilmen’s Association.

Robin Auld

Robin specializes in providing organizations with Executive Level Leadership to mission-critical initiatives and through periods of transformational change. Robin has 19 years of experience leading integrated teams to realize efficiencies, build winning strategic plans and deliver essential operational capabilities. As a leader, Robin works collaboratively with his teams and executives to successfully deliver solutions internationally, across a broad range of sectors including Finance & Banking, Resource & Energy, Manufacturing, Technology, Defence, Retail, Manufacturing, Construction and Real-Estate development. Robin is a licensed Professional Engineer and Certified Project Manager with an Engineering degree from the Royal Military College of Canada and an MBA from Queen’s University.

Melesia Kasha

Melesia is the Managing Director of BIS CON, a consulting firm dedicated to providing personalized corporate and financial advisory services with a special focus on entrepreneurial ventures and new market entry and development matching commercial interests with strategic opportunities.

Since 2011, Ms. Kasha has been leading the structuring and execution of corporate finance projects in the oil & gas and infrastructure sectors with boutique investment banking firms in Colombia where she offers specialized expertise in hydrocarbons midstream, upstream, downstream and oil & gas services. She is an associate of Kapital Financial Services S.A.S. since 2015, a Colombian company specialized in structuring corporate finance transactions, conducting mergers & acquisitions transactions, structuring and obtaining debt for companies with national and international banks, project financing and structuring special investment vehicles and financial products.

Ms. Kasha was past President and General Manager of Parex Resources Colombia Sucursal Ltda. responsible for the setting up of the company´s operations in Colombia. Before joining Parex Resources, Ms. Kasha worked with several public and private companies in the Canadian oil & gas industry, providing consulting services for acquisitions and divestitures, corporate structuring, ongoing management and administration of petroleum assets as well as ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Ms. Kasha has a degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Petroleum Land Management from the University of Calgary – Canada and two MBA degrees, one with a specialization in Entrepreneurship, from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in Santiago de Chile, and the other from prestigious Institut supérieur des affaires (ISA) HEC School of Management in Paris – France. She is fluent in English, Spanish and French.

Deborah Nanton

Deborah has 30+ years of HR experience and is a strong HR executive partner with the ability to build enduring relationships across all levels of an organization. She is nationally and Internationally experienced with expertise in all areas of HR as well as development and coaching, mergers and acquisitions due diligence, global outsourcing development, business leadership, professional services management, diversity, and strategic and tactical implementation of business solutions. Technologically adept with particular skills in the use of social networks as an HR tool and in aligning HR services to reinforce the business behaviors and competencies required by an organization. Deborah joined Unisys Canada Inc. in 1987 and was the Vice-President of Human Resources from 1994 – 2009. In 2009 Deborah commenced a successful private business, Nanton HR Consulting. At present, she is responsible for HR at Longview Solutions Inc.

Sid Turner

P.Eng


Sid graduated from Ottawa’s Carleton University Engineering (B.Eng) in ‘78 after which he headed west and worked in Northern BC, Alberta, and the East Coast Offshore for Schlumberger Wireline for several years. Eventually he moved to Calgary and worked with Panarctic Oil’s Drilling department working in the High Arctic Islands. In 1985 Sid also spent a year at Maynard Energy and later joined Dome Petroleum’s Drilling department and remained there through the Amoco and BP years working Drilling, Completions, Well Servicing and Well Integrity until BP sold out of Canada in 2010 as a result of the Macondo incident. Sid then moved to Apache Canada’s Completions & Well Servicing department until retirement in 2015.

Ingy Randhawa

Ingy is a seasoned information technology (IT) leader with extensive executive-level experience. During his 26 years at the City of Calgary, he managed many of the challenges facing information technology entities during a time of unprecedented growth and change. Leading a team of over 450 IT professionals as the Chief Information Technology Officer (CITO) of the City of Calgary, he championed effective IT governance, enterprise architecture, ITIL-based process implementations, business process reviews, and application lifecycle frameworks. His responsibilities also included all aspects of mobility, with extensive data and multimedia processing requirements. His expertise encompasses public sector transformation, spanning major trends such as citizen service, performance management, e-government, integrated service delivery, benchmarking, and social networks. He was a board member of Calgary Technologies Inc. and a member of the Mount Royal University Advisory Committee. A graduate of the University of Southampton with a degree in electrical engineering, Ingy began his career in the United Kingdom before being recruited by the City of Calgary in 1982. He is a Professional Engineer (Alberta), a Charted Engineer (U.K.), and a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
