Customer Technical Support Specialist

Job Description:

Working to implement and support Wellman™, our leading-edge Well Reporting and Data Management software, you will provide exceptional customer service through our Support Help Desk.  We place a strong emphasis on responsiveness and managing client requests through our CRM.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS or equivalent degree in a related discipline or equivalent knowledge & experience
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a customer service position supporting software applications
  • Must own a computer, high speed internet & a cellular  phone
  • Experience with SQL Server and Oracle considered a strong asset

 Competencies:

  • Customer service orientation
    • Ability to plan activities and carry them through effectively
    • Proficient in current technology- OS, MS Office and basic network functions
    • Demonstrated capabilities in investigating, analyzing and creative problem solving
    • Ability to express yourself clearly in writing and confidently in speech
    • Able to multi-task and manage competing priorities
    • Strong documentation skills, excellent English language skills

  Assets:

  • Experience with SQL Server and Oracle
  • VMWare server administration
  • Experience in the Oil & Gas and Mining industries
    • French language skills
